Booking Terms and Conditions.

Your Commitment to Us

When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Sunnyside Adventure and yourself.

No contract exists between you and Sunnyside Adventure for the sale of any tickets until we have received and accepted your order and received payment in full.  Once cleared funds are received, there is a binding contract between us.

Prices

The description and price of tickets you order will be shown on Sunnyside Adventure’s website at the time you place your order.  Prices are in UK Sterling and inclusive of any applicable taxes.  There are no surcharges or transaction fees.  All children of fee paying age and adults entering Sunnyside Adventure must pay the entry fee, regardless of whether they will play or not.

Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets.

Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.  We accept most major credit and debit cards in partnership with our payment gateway.

Online Security

To ensure that your online shopping experience is secure, your credit / debit card details will be encrypted on a secure server to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read them as they are sent over the Internet.

Online Booking

Once purchased on-line tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold.  We reserve the right to refuse entry to late arrivals.

Any discounts or offers on-line are available for limited quantities and periods only and shall not be available on bookings made by phone or in person.

Please bring along your booking reference number and/or email print out.

Prices are correct at time of going to press and are subject to change without notification.

Tickets

You will need a valid email address buy tickets online, this is where your confirmation and ticket will be sent to. When visiting the centre tickets may be shown in printed format or on a mobile phone.

The tickets you buy are non-refundable.  Tickets are valid for the date and session booked only.

Limitation of Liability

Sunnyside Adventure’s total liability for in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.

The limitation on any exclusion from liability contained in these conditions shall be subject to the provisions of second 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.

Sunnyside Adventure will not be liable in any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is caused by the occurrence of any unseen event beyond its reasonable control including without limitation Internet and Communication outages, fire, flood, war or act of God including disruptive weather events.

Severance

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

Refunds & Cancellations

Tickets will only be exchanged or refunded if Sunnyside Adventure, at its absolute discretion, chooses to do so. For the avoidance of any doubt, pre-booked tickets are non-refundable in the event that admission is cancelled, refused or relinquished for any reason.

Heath & Wellness

Please do NOT attend your play session if you have Coronavirus symptoms. Symptoms include a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

Customers are asked to take personal responsibility for wearing face masks, you might consider wearing a mask whilst moving around the building, food and beverage queue points.

Hand sanitisers are available throughout the centre and we encourage you to use these and continue to wash your hands regularly whilst moving around the centre.

Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your allotted arrival time.

Adventure Play Safety Guide

Ticket holders must adhere to the safety guide at all times when in Sunnyside Adventure.

·        Smoking is not permitted within Sunnyside Adventure

·        Children are under the supervision of their parent or guardian at all times during their visit

·        Children who are unwell should refrain from playing

·        All participants should be in good health to enter the play frames.  You know your physical conditions and limitations – we do not!  If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, please do not participate.  The play frames are not recommended for people who are pregnant or who have any of the following conditions; neck or back problems, hearth conditions or recent surgery.

·        Pockets must be empty, no loose objects such as mobile phones or cameras.  Eyeglassses should be secure. 

·        Remove jewellery, badges and any other sharp objects

·        Notify the duty manager of any injuries on the play frame before leaving Sunnyside Adventure.

·        No food, drink or chewing gum is allowed on the play equipment

·        No glassware allowed on the play equipment

·        Socks must be worn at all times

  • Arms and legs should be covered
  • No liability will be accepted for loss, damage or theft of items
  • Items left are done so at your own risk
  • This is a family attraction.  No horseplay or swearing.  The operator reserves the right to expel participants from the attraction if exhibiting this behaviour.
  • We have a zero-tolerance policy to all forms of anti-social behaviour.  This includes: bullying, fighting, any form of aggressive, or any other type of behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards Sunnyside Adventure staff, management, or other members of the public – from either children or adults.  You may be asked to leave following non- compliance and management reserve the right to enforce total bans.
  • You must not carry any sharp objects or weapons into our premises and it is forbidden to bring or consumer alcohol or drugs, such items will be confiscated and you will be removed from the premises immediately.  Where appropriate, we will contact the police.

 

Food & Drinks

·        Only food and drinks purchased at Sunnyside Adventure can be consumed on the premises.

·        Waiting times can be as long as 45 minutes from time of order at busy periods.

·        We keep eating areas separated from the play area for matters of health and safety.  Food, drink, sweets and chewing gum are not allowed in close proximity of the play equipment.

 

Heath and Safety

·        In the interest of Health and Safety please ensure that children do not discard their food on the floor, any food debris fallen on the floor whilst eating must be removed immediately.  Our staff members are available to provide additional help to maintain the hygiene of Sunnyside Adventure.

·        In the interest of Health and Safety you must inform the management of any toiletry accidents, body fluids such as urine, vomit caused by children on the play equipment.

·        We provide nappy changing facilities and nappy changes must be carried out in the designated area.  Please ensure soiled nappies are placed in the bins provided and not flushed down the toilets.

·        Shoes must be worn at all times when using the toilet facilities.

·         

Play time

·        All play equipment is subject to availability.  Management reserves the right to close an activity if required without prior notice.  No refunds or deductions will be made.

·        Play equipment will be operated on an interval basis and your ticket covers an allocated time slot.

·        Our play frames close 15 minutes before the end of your session for cleaning and safety checks.

·        All our play equipment is designed for maximum fun, and has passed stringent requirements regulated by the Play Inspector.  We cannot therefore be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of playing on our equipment.

·        We have provided separate age appropriate zones, for everyone’s safety please adhere to all age and height restrictions.  Each area contains detailed rules of play which should be referenced prior to entering the play frame.

·        Children who are unwell should not use the play facilities.

·        Children may be refused entry on play equipment if they are not wearing the appropriate clothing or footwear, wearing a plaster cast or have sustained injuries.

·        Adults are only allowed to help children if required and must not use them for play.

·        Sunnyside Adventure staff supervise the play equipment during operation to help maximise your children’s play experience, they are not however a replacement for parental supervision!

·        All under fives must be accompanied by an adult on the main play frame. 

·        Children must not stand up, run up/down/on the slides.

·        Do not play in front of at the bottom of the slides.

·        Children or adults must not run in the soft play area. 

·        It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or the system structure. 

·        Balls must not be removed from the play areas. 

·        Ball or other objects must not be thrown.

·        Children and adults must remove shoes/footwear whilst in the play areas.

·        Both children and adults must wear socks at all times whilst on carpeted or play areas.

·        We strongly recommend that anyone riding our slides wears clothing that covers all limbs and is not made with any nylon type fabric as this could lead to avoidable friction burns. 

·        Clothing with rope cords and toggles should not be worn in the play area.

·        Children must remove spectacles (unless shatterproof), jewellery and any sharp objects, including badges, before entering the play area.  It is also recommended to remove your hearing aids during play.

 

FIRE SAFETY AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Sunnyside Adventure Building is monitored by a fire alarm system.  In the event of an alarm event, you are required to leave the building in a controlled and calm manor.  Staff will ensure all play facilities are evacuated and customers are directed to the fire assembly point marked by a green sign at the side of the pond.   All belongings are to be left within the building and customers must evacuate to the assembly point and await further instruction.  

Customers with mobility impairment MUST inform staff on arrival in order that a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) can be formulated.

THE INSTRUCTIONS OF STAFF AND FIRE MARSHALLS ARE TO BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES.  

 

Disclaimer.

We are pleased to provide this facility to all our valued customers.  Whilst we have attempted to make it as safe as possible, the very nature of Children’s play activity means accidents can occasionally happen.  We cannot therefore accept any responsibilities for injury to children or adults, damage, loss or theft to clothing or any other valuables while using our facilities or car park.

 

Parental / Carer supervision of children in your care is imperative.
